The Sr Payment Services Representative will provide direct support to the Payment Services Supervisor by monitoring the production flow to ensure daily objectives are met and provide day-to-day leadership to the team. This team member will act as subject matter expert for processes and will provide support and training as requested and is responsible for completing the more complex functions within the department. This team member has contact with internal and external business partners, including financial institutions, attorneys, company alliances, customers and automobile dealerships. Detailed Description JOB DUTIES Perform payment services job duties at a fully proficient and professional level handling situations which may require extensive research and problem solving. Perform analysis on current processes and make recommendations to management for efficiencies as needed. Troubleshoot and perform duties to resolve advanced customer problems, complaints, and inquiries. This includes sufficient follow-up to ensure customers and dealers are satisfied. Provide guidance to less experienced team members. Evenly distribute work to all team members. Coordination of team efforts on fulfilling monthly assigned administrative tasks. Perform monetary maintenance transactions. Review, approve, and follow through with the customer refund process. Act as liaison for the department in complying with the Collateral and Contract Document Retention and Destruction policy. Ensure legal procedures, and company policies and procedures are followed. Perform all other duties, special projects, and assignments as directed by the Team Leader or Supervisor.

OTHER IMPORTANT DUTIES Actively involved in projects that impact the department. Coordinate resources as needed. Responsible for internal initiatives, including but not limited to, internal and external audit preparation, user template and database upkeep. Work well in group problem solving situations. Balances team and individual responsibilities. Promote a cooperative and productive work environment. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP Reports to: Payment Services Team Leader Direct Reports: None Job Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge Thorough knowledge of Payment Services core business functions, policies and procedures. Working knowledge of indirect retail auto financing and financial service operations. Working knowledge of the accounts receivable process. Working knowledge of credit and debit processing in finance or banking environment. Working knowledge of credit laws and regulations. Skills Accurate data entry and ten key skills. Advanced investigative skills with ability to solve problems. Mathematical ability to calculate payments and reconcile payment postings. Proficient in the use of basic computer functions and Microsoft applications. Flexibility with work-style preference for fast-paced, changing environment. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Skills necessary to operate various office equipment, including but not limited to, fax and copy machines. Ability to multi-task and make independent decisions within established guidelines relating to the performance of day-to-day duties. Experience Experience in customer service and in performing general office duties in finance or banking related environment. Experience performing cashier or accounts receivable duties High School diploma or equivalent required

WORK CONDITIONS Normal office environment subject to stressful situations related to daily deadlines, prioritization of multiple tasks and dealing with customers, branches, and other departments and outside vendors. Occasional overtime may be required to meet company needs.
