Minimum 3+ Years Mortgage Servicing experience
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

Job Description:
Overview:
The Foreclosure and REO Specialist supports the Collections group within the Consumer Finance division.
The position is responsible for ensuring that the foreclosure and post foreclosure proc! ess, to include property preservation, claims, REO's and inves! tor reporting for all real estate secured accounts is processed in compliance with all state and federal laws while simultaneously monitoring for Investor, Insurer, Agency and company policies and procedures.
This includes, but is not limited to, monitoring the foreclosure process to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements, conducting file reviews, working with third parties as needed on questions or issues, and monitoring third party performance. The position will also be responsible for all property preservation, filing the necessary PMI or investor claims, conducting daily and monthly investor reporting as well as assisting the Foreclosure and REO Manager with the handling of the REO properties.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for servicing real estate accounts to ensure the foreclosure and post foreclosure process is in compliance with all state and federal laws while maintaining compliance with Investor, Insurer, Agency and company guidelines
C! onduct complete reviews of foreclosure files to ensure all default timeframes have been met
Request and review updated documentation from Investors, Insurers, and Agencies to ensure compliance
Manage foreclosure proceedings on assigned cases by interacting and instructing various parties such as mortgagors, attorneys, investors, insurers, trustees, appraisers and any other party involved with the foreclosure process
Monitor attorney's performance by reviewing all proceedings, records and timeframes in addition to working all system/database activities throughout the foreclosure process
Diligently follow-up on all outstanding requests and telephone calls from internal and external customers
Audit all foreclosure accounts for payment compliance and ensure proper posting to the system of record
Upon request, provide attorney's with accurate foreclosure figures for foreclosure actions such as sales, reinstatement, loss mitigation timelines, etc. In addit! ion, provide the attorney with accurately executed documents as request! ed
Perform required research on any loan with questionable items such as the application of payments, proper foreclosure notification, and any other situation that may arise
Actively review customer circumstances and forward any potential customers to the appropriate Loss Mitigation Department for consideration
Order and maintain appropriate property preservation throughout the foreclosure and post foreclosure process.
When applicable file the appropriate claim with the investor or PMI Company.
Assist the Foreclosure & REO Manager with the handling and processing of REO properties.
