Responsible for managing a client base of professionals and executives, including, but not limited to medical doctors, dentists, accountants! , attorneys, engineers, architects, etc., and their firms, in addition to corporate executives. Private Banking Officer is responsible for the marketing, evaluating, negotiating, & monitoring of a portfolio of private banking clients. The portfolio will comprise of a variety of depository, treasury management and loans, of which some will be of a complex nature. Responsible for insuring that the client's wealth management solutions are accommodated with other expertise within the division and organization as needed.

DUTIES

  • Initiates and cultivates existing and new private banking relationships for the bank through active marketing efforts including calls, visits, community involvement, and entertainment.
  • Establish a roadmap to support Bank market objectives to achieve balance sheet growth goals through quality lead generation, business development, sales effort and relationship management to best meet the needs of our customers.
  • ! Identify full balance sheet cross-sell opportunities for clien! t and effectively coordinate with partners to evaluate those opportunities.
  • Accountable for coordination of individual deposit development activities and strategies that promote core deposit growth by attracting new business and building multiple relationships with existing customers.
  • A sales position with a primary focus on sales development and relationship building through the promotion of deposits, loans, fee-based services and the retention of customers.
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by generating, managing and servicing a profitable portfolio of clients.
  • Work with the branch's existing book of business customers to ensure business and personal cross-sell, capture of entire relationship, and improved customer retention, to increase branch balance and revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business development and sales activities; analyzing financial information; designing loan structures; authorizing and/o! r recommending approval of loans with a low degree of complexity; and monitoring portfolio to ensure compliance with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Building loyalty and driving profitable revenue growth by applying key customer relationship management principles including:
oResolving immediate client(s) concerns and account issues.
oActively managing a portfolio of targeted/high-value clients and/or segments of clients.
oDeveloping and executing targeted client retention and expansion activities (develop and secure new business from existing portfolio base).
oNew customer acquisition activities, ensuring a more effective identification and cultivation of potentially high-value relationships.
oWorking to ensure that a coordinated and consistent message reaches targeted clients across all delivery/servicing channels.
oDemonstrating strong solution-oriented sales and communications skills and effectively establishing! rapport and credibility with customers.
  • Demonstrating str! ong team-building skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor of Business Administration, Associate's Degree or related experience.
  • Three or more years of related experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Credit training skills desired with ability to understand loan structuring.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Certified Financial Planner desired.
  • Series 7 & 66 licenses desired.
