Job Summary
The CSA shall provide CSA services IAW appropriate DoD, USAF, AFOSI, and AF ISR Agency IT infrastructure regulations and directives. The individual will ma! intain current network configuration documentation in both hard and soft copy and update network configuration changes within 30 calendar days of each subsequent change. Position shall include Systems engineering tasks and activities, as well as analysis and programming tasks and activities.
Job Description
Install, test, and maintain workstations, servers, and Local Area Networks (LANS) Install, test, and maintain software applications Troubleshootand resolve hardware and software issues Performserver backups Establishand maintain user accounts, profiles, file sharing, access privileges, andsecurity Maintain software and hardware inventory lists Maintainnetwork configuration management documentation Providesupport in the research, evaluation, and planning of new hardware andsoftware purchases Assist in daily rekey of classified networks Provide support in the monitoring and analysis of covered account network traffic Coordinate activities with appropriate USAF! and contractor IT organizations, as necessary Perform related! network administration duties, as required.
Systems engineering tasks and activities:
Provide technical input and detailed design specifications for the NIAP Infrastructure and web forum capabilities regarding design, integration, and implementation Formulate and define specifications for system applications Modify and maintain existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer Coordinate program design, modeling, simulation, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation Coordinate applications dealing with the overall operating system, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications/communications networks, computer accounting and advanced mathematical/scientific software packages Coordinate quality assurance review and evaluation of existing and new software products
Analysis and programming tasks and activities:
Maintain and monitor the NIAP infrastructure and the web for! um Analyze and troubleshoot NIAP Client and Node issues and providing operational enhancement support, performing analysis of security related issues and countermeasures Review and analyze log files Perform software upgrades and security patches Conduct inventory tracking Conduct user training and other duties, as appropriate
Qualifications
Education Requirements, Work Experience, and Qualifications
Five or more years of related job experience, providing support as outlined in job description.
CompTIA A+ Certified is required. In addition, CompTIA Network+ and/or CompTIA
Security+ certifications are preferred.
Five years of Client/Server Support experience including at least 3 years of experience
with the most current Apple Mac OS in networked and wireless environments.
Experience must include:
- Installation, maintenance, and configuration of servers, switches, firewalls,
t! o perform system backup and recovery.
- installation of PCs, loading of operating systems, applications and upgrades
- installation and replacement of internal parts (i.e., CD/DVD drives, network and
Ability to perform system analysis, development, design, test and evaluation activities,
ensure the integration of hardware, software, and peripheral devices, create/delete user
IDs and allocate system resources efficiently among system users & processes.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve computer and system issues with customers
telephonically and via email.
Experience and ability to conduct inventory management control of all hardware (servers,
switches, firewalls, laptops, other peripherals), and associated software of a project
similar in size and scope as this contract.
An understanding of the following:
- Ethernet, FDDI, high-spee! d LANs, WANs
- Routers, Firewalls, Switches
- Microsoft Windows, Linux and Apple OS
- VMware ESX/ESXi, Apache and IIS Web Server Software
- Computer network security to include Server hardening, PC and Apple Mac
procedures, computer and network backstopping procedures, OPSEC as it applies
to computer networks and systems, disaster recovery, monitoring equipment and
applications.

Physical Requirements:
This position primarily consists of working indoors in an office environment, at a customer location. Essential functions: The employee may be required to: sit, walk, or stand for extended periods, talk and hear with the ability to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, exchange information, to use the hands and fingers to operate, activate, use,! prepare, inspect, place, or position, and see to detect, determine, pe! rceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess.
Non-Disclosure Agreement: This policy is stated in the Employee Handbook, which will be supplied during the first month of employment. All employees of Webhead will be required to sign and adhere to this agreement.
Travel Requirements
Short term travel shall be necessary to assist client in the completion of its tasks. Forecasted travel is five trips per year per person to locations within the continental US (CONUS). Travel to locations outside the continental US (OCONUS) may be required.
Security Requirements
All personnel shall possess or be eligible for, and retain a Top Secret, Special Compartmented Information (SCI), security clearance based on a favorable SSBI. Personnel employed by the contractor in the performance of this contract may also be required to undergo counterintelligence polygraph screening.
Schedule Requirements
This position! shall require the CSA to be available, via cell phone or pager, between the hours of 6:30 AM and 5:30 PM Central Standard Time (CST). Normal access hours are 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM CST. The actual work schedule shall be determined and coordinated with management of Webhead and its client.
