Our client is a leader in the Oil and Gas industry.
Job Description
In this high profile, varied and commercially focused role you will be responsible for providing a! major global business unit with a full range of patent support and protection both domestically and worldwide. Key responsibilities will include:
(*) Patent Preparation & some prosecution and overseeing the work of outside counsel
(*) Client counselling & partnering including patent clearance & competitor analysis advice
(*) Intellectual Property Agreements including joint development; supplier engagement agreements
(*) M&A support to include patent portfolio valuation & due diligence
obtaining patents; developing patent and trade secret protection strategy; prosecution and for providing business partner advise to the business unit and R&D teams.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate for this role will be a US Admitted Attorney with 3-6 years broad patent experience at a top law firm. Will you ideally have a Mechnical or Chemical Engineering focused background.
