Our Default Servicing team engages, understands and advises consumer real estate customers of available solutions to resolve mortgage delinquencies.
Loss Control Vendor Management engages in regulation and compliance functions with emphasis on attorney vendors. The team is responsible for providing feedback to business and vendors regarding loss control portfolio performance.
- The Analytics Consultant 1 will be responsible for performing assigned analyses and projects to solve a variety of business issues for a department or functional area.
- Performs analysis of findings and trends using statistical and/or financial analysis, modeling, process documentation, profitability analysis, etc.;
- Summarizes and presents findings to increase revenue, reduce expense, maximize operational efficiency, quality, ! compliance, etc.
- Ensures adherence to data management regulations and policies.
- May serve as department/area liaison to technology group.
- Works with users to define business requirements and analytical needs;
- Identifies and recommends potential data sources;
- Compiles/mines data from a variety sources;
- Responds to requests for specific, customized reports.
- May partner with internal or external business partners to recommend business intelligence solutions.
- Creating statistical reporting for default management
- Building consolidated reporting for external delivery
- Compiling and analyzing results and summarizing reporting
- Maintaining LCAMP review application, including enhancements
- Participate in presentations for default management and attorney vendor network
- Retrieve and analyze key data elements
- Pull loan file sa! mples
- Key service level data/metrics
- Aggregate / arch! ive key program reports
- Review summaries( desktop and field)
- Manage notifications/workflow
- Desktop review schedule
- Field review schedule
- Performance remediation program
- Prepare key reports internal and external
3+ years reporting and analytical experience or a minimum of a Bachelors degree in programs such as applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics or computer sciences.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years working experience in a reporting and analytical environment.
- 1+ years experience with researching, compiling, and performing complex analysis on critical operational data.
- 1 year of SQL working experience above and beyond education.
- Experience presenting to multiple levels of management.
- Advance computer skills to including Excel, (including Macro VBA), Microsoft Access and M! icrosoft SharePoint.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with aggressive deadlines.
- Ability to independently provide summaries and make strategic recommendations on operational data.
- Possess excellent troubleshooting, resolution, technical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to partner and coordinate with other functions on projects.
- Good written and verbal communication skill
Preferred Skills
- Bachelors degree in programs such as applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics or compu! ter sciences.
- 1+ year in mortgage banking experience (preferre! d skill set in Mortgage servicing emphasis on default).
- Advance computer skills to including Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, LPS, Business Objects and/or Cognos.
- Knowledge of SAS or SSIS automation
