The CLG team includes Home Lending, Consumer Credit Card, Personal Loans and Lines, Direct Auto, Dealer Services, Commercial Auto, Retail Services and Education Financial Services including the professional services teams that partner with these businesses - Human Resources, Finance, Credit Risk, and Complianc! e & Operational Risk.

Our Consumer Credit Solutions (! CCS) Compliance and Operational Risk team provides guidance to CCS businesses to support their commitment to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal operational policies and procedures.

Client Service Consultant 3 This position is responsible for supporting internal and external partners by providing a variety of support services in relationship management, operations, documentation, and technical support. Primarily, the CSC3 will assist the CSC4 in the audit of Attorney Firms working with CCS (not including real estate/mortgage business). These audits are conversational and involve building relationships. The CSC3 is accountable for starting the attorney relationship and handling all documentation.

The CSC3 and CSC4 will work together with the attorney firm and lines of business to resolve operational and quality concerns.

Duties include: contacting existing customers to present product or service information, discuss op! erating problems and identify opportunities to cross-sell other services; communicating and coordinating with assigned relationship managers; analyzing business issues to create operational efficiencies, quality and compliance; analyzing and resolving complex operational, systems-related and/or customer issues; monitoring, assessing and analyzing account activity, reports, cash flow projections and financial statements for existing customers to identify irregularities and determine retention; preparing monthly/quarterly financial and profitability reports and loan reports; promoting Bank services and seeking new business with present and prospective customers; consulting with management on high level financial planning; identifying external customer needs and evaluating profitability and risk; preparing marketing proposals; assisting with special projects relating to product conversions and new product development. Schedule is M-F starting at 7:30am or 8:30am for a minimum ! of 8 hours a day. There is not the ability to work remotely/telecommute! , aside from when traveling.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years client service or related business experience.
  • Ability to travel throughout the United States and be away from the office 40% of the time (often away M-F).
  • Strong MS Office experience including PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Word, and Project.
  • Ability to present complex ideas in a simple way.
  • Ability to present information to a group, while providing a summary and recommendations on operational data.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a self directed manner.
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and organizational skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Analytical analysis, trending capabilities, and reporting skills.
  • Experience implementing solutions on behalf of the customer or client, improving productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated collabor! ation skills.
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.

  • Currently or previously held a CSC type role.
  • Experience with vendor management.
  • Experience doing on-site vendor audits.
  • Experience working with attorneys or legal firms.
  • Experience with a high percentage of travel in a previous position.
