Location: Houston, TX (CityWest)
Duties:
HR Leadership & Coaching:
Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR operational plan as well as participating in functional and cross-functional initiatives
Implement corporate initiatives in the business, be familiar with business unit needs and provide input accordingly to ensure initiatives are sensitive to business unit needs while achieving corporate objectives
Provide clear leadership by demonstrating understanding of business trends and needs
Provide advice, coaching/consulting on a variety of HR and business issues to business unit leaders and employees for performance enhancement and issue prevention/resolution while ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations and Company policies/procedures
Understand employee opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns
Maintain close contact with the area HR team to work in synchronization with the other business units
Innovation:
Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve the HR policies and initiatives to enhance overall business performance
Identify and drive the communication and sharing of learning across functions to facilitate continuous improvement. Offers recommendations and solutions
Recruitment:
Work with hiring managers to identify position requirements, appropriate candidate sourcing and qualified candidate pool - for the CityWest, Sugarland and Shadowwood Facilities
Responsible for all elements of. Manage offer process proposing, preparing, extending, and negotiating offers as well as follow-up after offers are extended
Post jobs (internal and external)
Coordinate/schedule interviews
Conduct phone and face-to-face candidate interviews
Collect and communicate post interview feedback
Tracking candidate interviewees and status
Tracking jobs filled/jobs open â€" global
Prepare supporting case for package/offer approval
Maintain supply of interviewee packets and new hire packages
Manage relationships with external recruiting firms (contingent and retained)
Provides recruitment support to the Asia Pacific region
Support other HR Staff with regards to recruitment on a project basis
Manages ‘Recruitment Inbox’ and Careers Page of company intranet and extranet
Based on relevant US business unit needs, develops, recommends and implements relevant campus recruiting program. This includes:
working with business unit heads to determine annual needs
identifying appropriate schools and associations
scheduling attendees/interviews
travel and meeting accommodations
building relationships with Campus contacts
coordinating guest speakers
coordinating with corporate marketing on branding and marketing materials
coordinate with HRM EU for consistency in approach and message where appropriate

Collect global Quarterly bonus plan participants list
Assist with /coordinate incumbent base spreadsheets (global)
Assist with base process/administration
Assist with Market analysis and prep work
HRMS and Special Projects:
Special projects as defined by HR Manager and/or VP HR
Ad Hoc Reporting and Analysis using HRMS
Support to other HR staff on projects basis.
Provide back up to other HR Generalists (cross functional)
Compile data to be input into HRMS â€" new hires, terminations, PCNs, etc. as needed
General HR Support & Administration:
Prepare necessary paperwork for immigration processes as defined by HR Manager
Maintain current immigration and I9 paperwork for all CityWest, Sugarland and ShadowWood employees.
Work with immigration attorney to ensure correct procedures are followed and immigration statuses are kept current
Other duties as assigned by HR Manager
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
Strong interpersonal skills. Capable of building professional relationships and rapport with all levels of employees
Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Adjusts communication style/approach according to audience
Demonstrated self starter with a drive for results.
Strong service delivery. Understands the commercial business and processes and the link between HR strategy and business strategy. Ensures that HR services are provided as appropriate to internal client needs, identifies new opportunities where HR can add value, and maintains leading-edge knowledge of HR issues
Detail oriented
Maintains confidentiality and builds relationships of trust
