Job Summary:
Overall responsibilities include management and strategy development for the Foreclosure, Bankruptcy and Compliance Reporting departments. Responsible for people and process management, as well as annual budget and expense targets. Senior leadership presence with agencies, regulators and foreclosure networks across the nation. Regular participation with the MBA and Washington, DC.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. Process management skills aligned with technology thinking to manufacture quality default documents 2. Current and complete knowledge of all federal and state regulations pertaining to Foreclosure and Bankruptcy 3. Understanding of current Loss Mitigation programs offered through the GSE and Governmental Agencies and the interaction and effects on Foreclosure and Bankruptcy 4. Experience in reviewing valuations, interacting with attorneys, and negotiating settlements, as well as selecting and rating attorney performance 5. Complete knowledge of Default Servicing Guidelines prescribed by GSEs and Governmental Agencies 6. Strong communication skills required to interact with and educate other areas of the company. These skills are also needed when handling escalations or inquiries from investors, auditors, or rating agencies 7. Experience in managing outsourcers, as well as load balancing internal staff 8. Knowledgeable in agency electronic reporting requirements 9. Creation / monitoring of efficiency initiatives and related needs through technology and reporting 10. Training and mentoring of staff; development of supervisors and managers to be a high-performing team 11. Responsible for dashboard reporting, detailed metrics and benchmark data, as well as other reporting requirements 12. Responsible for departmental budgets and cost control Job Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:
