Detailed specification about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. Our office has an opening for an Analyst in the Commercial Real Estate Asset Management Department. This position, which reports to the Vice President/ Asset Man! ager, offers an exposure to a wide variety of primarily small balance loans (UPB less than $5 million) and products as well as oversight of portfolios. RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing strong relationships and effective lines of communication with colleagues and third parties (including joint venture partners and loan servicers)
Monitoring the performance of an assigned portfolio of small balance loans (2MM average UPB)
Quickly review and manipulate large quantities of loan and property level data received from 3rd parties
Preparing and maintaining property and portfolio valuations using discounted cash flow models
Reviewing and becoming knowledgeable of the transaction documents, with specific emphasis on compliance with performance criteri! a and lender remedies when a default occurs
Implementation! of action steps and strategies to maximize the value of underperforming assets, including workouts, litigation, foreclosure and bankruptcy.
Work closely with attorneys to complete foreclosures and discounted payoffs on performing and nonperforming loans.
Participating in underwriting and due diligence of new deals
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's in accounting, finance, or commercial real estate
A minimum of two to three years progressive experience in a combination of real estate asset management, accounting, underwriting, financial modeling, due diligence analysis, valuations, loan workouts, operations, dispositions
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Self-starter, able to work independently or in a team environment
Demonstrated flexibility to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Unquestionable integrity and ethics
Success developing and sustaining strong relationships ! with clients and colleagues
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications
Proficiency in Excel is a must
Required experience: 2 - 5 years
Minimum required education: Bachelor's Degree
