Import / Export Compliance Manager (Conroe)

Ensure Imports & Exports are carried out in accordance to NOV Import & Export Compliance Policies and! Procedures manuals.
Manage the process for requesting and receiving appropriate import and export related documentation and information.
Perform pre and post entry audits of customs entries.
Ensure record keeping requirements are satisfied.
Resolve issues arising from import and export transactions in conjunction with Compliance Manager and Corporate Compliance as appropriate.
Participate and/or conduct training on NOV import & compliance procedures and customs requirements with assistance from Corp. Compliance.
Remain current on relevant customs laws and regulations with respect to the products imported and exported.
Evaluate the use of single entry bond and notify Import Compliance Attorney of all importations utilizing a single entry bond.
Maintain a training log for facility employees related to imports and exports for both internal and external training.
5 years minimum experience in Import / Export field.
Broker's license ! preferred.
3-5 years supervisory experience preferred.
Must be very detail oriented with good organization skills.
Attention to accuracy is critical.
Have the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and prioritize the various duties and responsibilities required of the position.
College degree preferred, will consider experienced individual.
