Position Description:
Clean Energy Engineering, LLC (CEE) is seeking a Paralegal specialist with experience in providing legal support to Department of De! fense (DoD) agencies. CEE is an engineering and energy consulting firm specializing in providing renewable energy; energy efficiency; sustainable design solutions; management and professional services; studies, analyses, and evaluations; and engineering and technical expertise. Legal support will be provided to Air Force Civil Engineering Center for the following programs as related to Air Force installation support, development, construction, maintenance, repair and environmental requirements:
Fuel Facility Engineering and Project Work
Homeland Defense Act activities and initiatives (Force Protection and Overseas Contingency Support)
Operations and Maintenance Support
Expeditionary Engineering and Services
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise to Air Force lawyers in support of claims and litigation, primarily in the areas of federal contracts for design, construction, and military contingency support

Perform data collection, analyze collected data and repor! t on findings, generally using Concordance Software.
Reporting may include Visual Media Products, charts and graphic.
Paralegal support includes providing technical expertise to the Government at local meetings, including delivering technical presentations, providing meeting agendas and minutes, facilitate meetings, etc.
Perform and deliver technical reviews of data deliverables submitted by government contractors to assess functional and technical accuracy/completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations, such as “Rule 4†files for Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA).
Litigation and Administrative Support includes advise and/or assist the Air Force during administrative and judicial proceedings involving other federal, state, local and public agencies, including reviewing, analyze and make recommendations to integrate federal, state and local government comments on Air Force programs and studies. Document will be! delivered to the Air Force in support of responses and/or reports to regulatory agencies for approval and submission by governmental personnel.
Support will include environmental restoration claims support including investigation and analysis of claims the Air Force may assert against other parties for the recovery of environmental restoration costs and claims other parties have asserted against the Air Force for environmental liability.
Efforts may include assisting in any negotiation or litigation involving such claims and in the investigation and development of defenses to any potential Air Force environmental liability.
May review, interpret and define the application of new statutory and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Paralegal training
Experience in Federal Government law, DoD acquisition programs and Federal Government funding sources is preferred, but not required
Paralegal knowledge of fede! ral, state, and/or local regulations and statutes, Air Force and DOD re! gulations and other documentation will be required.
Knowledge of basic Automated Data Processing (ADP) Systems is required, which may include classified, privileged or proprietary information. This includes the storage, transmission, evaluation and/or present data generated in support of the Air Force Civil Engineering mission.
Skills should include the ability and experience to conduct word searches, data retrieval, and organization of large amounts of data with Concordance Software.
Required Technical Skills:
Extensive working knowledge of MS Word, Advanced MS Excel, Advanced MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and SharePoint (Use Only) is highly desired. Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Project, and other software also helpful.
