Marketing Manager

This newly created position will report directly to the President of two sister companies: One within AMOT business segments: DESS (Diesel Engine Safety Solutions) and Viatran. Person will be primarily responsible for managing all communication vehicles to customers and prospects. Work with Product Managers to communicate key messages for specific projects.
ESSENTIAL TASKS & DUTIES:
Marketing communications:
Create and manage MARCOM plan and budget
Create and update all product pre-sale and post-sale documents in controlled document system
Maintain websites and Search Engine Optimization (SEO! )
Research, recommend and manage all trade shows and ! vendor fairs
Manage leads generated from websites, trade shows, customer meetings, etc.
Assist with branding strategy and brand promotion
Write and distribute quarterly newsletter to customers and field sales representatives
Coordinate with advertising agencies to create major campaigns for new product and service releases
Develop and publish press releases, case histories, success stories and product information
Support channel communication on distributor/rep contracts, pricings, discounts, product obsolescence, etc.
Manage and work with corporate attorneys on trademark matters
Work with the team to develop and implement CRM tool
Manage Rep portal
Manage ad hoc promotional and communications requests from sales team, reps and distributors
Work with Product Managers to create and update product presentations
Develop and manage customer contact database
Maint! ain photograph database
Creative use of social media vehicles
Industry Segment Marketing:
Develop, deliver and promote industry focused products and solutions by industry
Create and maintain industry specific media lists
Research and recommend market specific publications or organizations to promote company products and brands
Product Marketing:
Assist with publication and dissemination of annual price lists
Prepare material for quarterly sales training seminars
Assist with marketing research and ideas for new products
Support new product launch program including launch packages
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience :
Required BA/BS degree or Associate degree with working experience
Minimum 5 years in marketing/marketing communications field
Experience with branding and promotion is highly desirable
Knowledge & Skills:
Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microso! ft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Highly detail oriented
Previous ability to successfully interact with customers and engineering group
Must be a strong team player with a commitment to company values
Demonstrated creative thinking and problem solving ability
Familiar with international business practices and cultural conventions
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office environment with access to necessary tools to perform job requirements.
Occasional travel
