Description
Interpret and understand entry of court-ordered deductions into the SAP and ADP Payroll systems. Responsible for supporting and coordinating ! the answering of questions from employees, agencies and attorneys regarding wage attachments. This includes understanding the process for deducting wage garnishments according to state and federal laws and court directives; to include, but not limited to, child and spousal support payments, court ordered garnishments, bankruptcies, federal and state ordered levies, and educational loans. Reviews, updates and publishes communications as needed to support the function.

Responsibilities:
Analyze and int! erpret complex garnishment rules within a multi-state environm! ent.
Reviews garnishment language to determine the scope, jurisdiction, applicability and timeframe of the garnishment accurate and time bound processing is complete.
Confirm vendor set up process properly supports garnishment operations.
Understand the process for deducting wage garnishments according to state and federal laws and court directives; to include, but not limited to, child and spousal support payments, court ordered garnishments, bankruptcies, federal and state ordered levies, and educational loans.
Communicate with employees, agencies, attorneys, and Accounts Payable. Also includes responding to interrogatories and requests for employee data.
Collaborate with Corporate attorneys to ensure state regulations and court directives are followed.
Maintain garnishment rules and application in SAP/ADP payroll systems.
Participate as needed in system testing coordination.
Troubleshooting and probl! em resolution.
Responsible for process and procedure documentation.

Qualifications
High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).
3 years of garnishment experience utilizing a computerized payroll system paying in multiple states for a large employer (3000+ employees).
2 years of experience with SAP and/or ADP ePayroll package.
