Inside Property Claims Specialist The candidate will, under technical supervision, handle Commercial Property claims of medium exposure an! d complexity within specific limits and authority. Should have a Bachelor's degree and/or related industry experience. Related experience may include prior experience in an office environment that required computer work, organization, strong communications, customer service and negotiation, experience gathering data, designing and testing solutions to problems, and formulating plans as well as managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment. Must have 3+ years of related experience with Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years of related experience without Bachelor's degree OR 2+ years of related litigation experience with a J.D.
degree. Fundamental knowledge of the insurance industry, claims and the insurance legal and regulatory environment required. A thorough functional knowledge and skill of claims handling is needed. Should have ability to obtain and maintain required adjuster license.
Negotiation and customer service experience are requir! ed. Should preferably have 3+ years of commercial property cla! ims handling that includes business interruption experience. Experience in a work environment that required collaboration across work groups is desired.
