David Weekley Homes, a top national home builder, is seeking an experienced Land Director to join our team.
Responsibilities Include:
Work with senior management, landowners, attorneys, municipalities! , land planners, engineers, contractors, architects, developers and homebuilders
Prepare and review documents and drawings pertaining to the acquisition, disposition and development of residential communities
Work with and support the VP of Land Development, Area and Division Presidents in the identifications, evaluation and development of new residential communities
Prepare budgets, financial spreadsheets, evaluate bids and conduct needed financial analysis
Conduct research on potential new market and investment opportunities
Develop financial proformas and spreadsheets
Requirements:
10 or more years experience in real estate acquisition or finance/banking
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Strong knowledge of real estate industry on a local and national level. Knowledge of residential real estate and/or land development
Ability to travel 50% or more of the time
Strong ne! gotiation and persuasion skills
Strong follow up and ! follow through on projects
High integrity and moral ethics
Ability to problem solve complex issues
Team-oriented and able to work well with a variety of people
Strong commitment to your work and to providing superior customer service
