International litigation and business law firm seeking an experienced TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST to work alongside attorneys and support staff!Provides a broad range of Technology S! upport. Assists with Telephone and voicemail setup, and loaner laptop and PDA distributions.Promptly answers calls from users and provides concierge-level support as required by internal and external clients in regards to questions or troubleshooting the following representative issues (partial list): application functionality/usability; problems with applications; hardware problems (defective monitor, keyboard, mouse, CPU or other component); printing problems, network access problems; software installation requests; PC/laptop upgrade requests; loaner laptop requests; loaner PDA requestsProvide basic training on various applications as needed.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: -Thorough knowledge of desktop PC, laptop, PDA and printer, Citrix and remote access configurations in a networked environment. -Demonstrated knowledge of all core legal software systems, particularly: MS Operating System, MS Office Suite, iManage, Interaction, Document Comparison software, CMS, etc. Adv! anced document troubleshooting and forensics with Word Process! ing Software.-Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system software and client/server communications in a Microsoft environment.-Ability to provide basic user training on firm wide systems and applications..-Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.-Good written communication, verbal communication and presentation skills.-Good analytical and problem solving skills.-Ability to work well in a team environment.-Able to work overtime and on-call as needMinimum 2 yrs.
of User Support or related experience. Law firm experience preferred.College degree, technical certifications or equivalent work experience.Salary: $50,000-60,000 depending upon years of experience!
