The purpose of this position is to administer and coordinate court activities related to criminal prosecution filed on behalf of the agency and serving as liaison between the agency, defendant, and ! the courts. This is accomplished by collecting summons, maintaining court calendars, apprising witnesses of dates, coordinating efforts with court personnel, producing evidence, reviewing information, and negotiating restitution if required. Other duties include maintaining reports, working with other departments, representing the agency to outside agencies and organizations, and performing other duties as required.

Responsibilities:
Administers and coordinates citation court activity by collecting summons, communicating with courts, filing information, maintaining court calendars and monitoring dates, arranging for witnesses, taking calls and inquiries, appearing in court and negotiating restitution if required.
Prepares evidence packets by pulling proof of registered owners, pulling invoice and related information and images on violations, organizing court packets, and reviewing and analyzing all relevant information and data.
Serves as agency ! liaison by working with defendants, responding to inquiries fr! om violators, working with attorneys, and negotiating options on resolving disputes and violations. Maintains a working knowledge of laws, policies and procedures.
Develops and produces reports by maintaining records and collecting appropriate data. Provides information to officials and answers questions.
Participates in the Top 10 Committee by targeting and investigating top violators, updating committee members, watching warrant activity, and requesting warrant execution.

Qualifications:
Formal Education
Work requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature which may be obtained with a two year associate's degree, diploma or equivalent from a college, technical, business, vocational, or correspondence school. Appropriate certification may be awarded upon satisfactory completion of advanced study or training.
Experience
Over one year up to and including three years.
Supervision
Job has no respo! nsibility for the direction or supervision of others.

Decisions regarding implementation of policies may be made. Contact may involve support of controversial positions or the negotiation of sensitive issue or important presentations.
Freedom to Act

Reading
Intermediate - Ability to read papers, periodicals, journals, manuals, dictionaries, thesauruses, and encyclopedias. Ordinarily, such education is obt! ained in high school up to college. However, it may be obtained from ex! perience and self-study.

Intermediate - Ability to deal with system of real numbers; practical application of fractions, percentages, ratios/proportions and measurement. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in high school up to college. However, it may be obtained from experience and self-study.

Intermediate - Ability to write reports, prepare business letters, expositions, and summaries with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar, using all parts of speech.
