Job Description:
Our DNA/Forensics Laboratory has an opening for a Customer Service Representative. The chose candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills have strong attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures as well as the ability to use appropriate computer software.
The Customer Service Representative will have the following responsibilities:

Duties to Include:
§ Perform daily customer service activities to include: respond to customer inquiries and requests for forensic, presumptive and consultation testing services.
§ Distribute sales literature to prospective clients/students.
§ Maintain customer inquiry database.
§ Resolve customer concerns utilizing in-house resources and sales team
§ Provide customer with written documentation as needed
§ Provide fundamental technical support to customer regarding case submissions
§ ! Interacts with all Cellmark Forensics employees to enhance cus! tomer satisfaction and process efficacy
§ Use telephone, computer and fax machine to correspond with customers regarding cases.
§ Act as a liaison between the Sales/Marketing Team, clients and the forensic analysts to ensure customer satisfaction.
§ Assist former employees with expert testimony scheduling.
§ Assist Dallas employees with expert testimony scheduling, as needed.
§ Assign case reviews to Dallas analysts, as needed.
§ Provide assistance to the Evidence Technician as needed.
§ Understand Chain of Custody, evidence handling procedures and proper evidence seal.
§ Assist the Forensic Supervisors to ensure that cases are closely monitored to meet customer expectations.
§ Arrange third party collection for attorneys and their clients.
§ Perform sample collection for relationship testing.
§ Coordinates the response to Discovery Requests. Performs various clerical duties such as copying, binding, filing and document! scanning. Mails various items (reports, case files and E-Data) to customers and initiates the billing process.
§ Maintain client confidentiality.
§ Contribute to and participates in the implementation and continuous improvement process of the Quality Program.
§ May perform additional duties with the approval of the Technical Leader.
