They are actively seeking a Tax Partner for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity to lead their new tax practice. With offices in Houston, New York, and Asia, my client is a market-leading, full-service accounting firm delivering high-quality small and middle-market private and public company audit and tax services.
Clients range from single individuals to multi-national corporations with gross revenues in exces! s of $1 billion and are located in more than 25 states and 8 c! ountries.. The firm’s current individual clients come from all walks of life, encompassing CEO’s of public corporations, attorneys, engineers, physicians and other health care professionals, accountants, stockbrokers, financial planners, salespeople, artists, and writers, as well as many other occupations and professions.
You will be involved in all aspects of the set up and development of this tax practice from systems and processes and business development through to compliance/consulting and setting fee structures.
You will need to have at least 8+ years’ experience with corporate tax, partnership tax, state and local tax, personal tax, complex federal tax issues and international tax. Experience working with Oil and Gas clients will be a distinct benefit. You must have great technical abilities with the ability to sign out returns coupled with the personality to sell and build the practice.
You will initially come on board as a salaried ! Partner but once you have been able to prove yourself you will be given the opportunity to become an equity partner in the firm.
This opportunity would ideally suit a Senior Manager from a Big 4 or large national CPA firm background who is struggling to make the next step up in their current firm to Partner.
