challenging opportunity for an Infrastructure Systems Manager Job Summary The Infrastructure Systems Manager is responsible for managing tier two support for Infrastructure Systems including Windows servers Unix servers Active Directory Exchange messaging systems and enterprise storage systems This management includes procurement and provisioning of servers and storage security as directed by the information security team software licensing disaster recovery duties and implementing ITILbased systems management processes The incumbent will manage a team of network engineers and administrators as well as additional infrastructure support staff Key Responsibilities Design and implement short and longterm strategic plans to ensure infrastructure systems capacity meets existing and future requirements Develop implement and maintain policies procedures and associated training plans for infrastructure systems administration Manage a team in the installation maintenance testing troubleshooting and support of hardware software and associated tools in a Windows Active Directory (AD) environment Conduct research and make recommendations on products services protocols and standards in support of all infrastructure procurement and development efforts Assist with the planning and deployment of infrastructure security measures Manage and set priorities for the design maintenance development and evaluation of infrastructure systems including Microsoft Windows networks operating systems and major applications including but not limited to Active Directory Exchange Outlook and IM systems Conduct feasibility studies for various upgrade projects improvements and other conversions Test network performance on infrastructure systems and provide performance statistics and reports develop strategies for maintaining network infrastructure systems Demonstrate strong leadership skills in codefining vision ownership metrics and structured improvement with peer leaders Collaborate across teams and drive to actionable consensus Recruit retain and motivate a worldclass team of network engineers analysts and technicians Champion selfdirected team execution and deep endtoend ownership of one039s organizational commitments Manage assigned projects to successful completion Perform other duties as assigned or necessary Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 10 years experience in information technology Minimum of 7 years experience providing enterprise level infrastructure support Minimum of 5 years experience maintaining and supporting Messaging systems Minimum of 5 years experience maintaining and supporting Windows based networks with a sound understanding of Directory services Minimum of 3 years experience leading teams and managing people and projects Minimum of 3 years experience supporting fiber or networkattached storage arrays Minimum of 3 years experience supporting UNIX AIX or Linux teams in an enterprise environment A+ MCDST or MCP certification required Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience maintaining and supporting Exchange messaging systems 5+ years of experience maintaining and supporting Windows based networks with a sound understanding of Windows 2008 Active Directory Exchange BlackBerry Enterprise Server administration TCPIP DNS and Active Directory MSCE or MCITP Enterprise Messaging Administrator with experience configuring and maintaining Microsoft Exchange 200320072010 Experience with Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) Experience with IronPort for virus SPAM filtering or similar firewalls Working knowledge of MS Clustering System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) Lync System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Symantec and McAfee Enterprise AV products ITIL certification or training Bachelors degree Professional Skills Strong consultative analytical and problem solving skills Excellent interpersonalcommunication and presentation skills Strong commitment to a team environment Proven leadership team building motivational skills Financial awareness ability to properly judge the value of solutions and propose alternate solutions when
