Location: Austin, Texas

National Instruments is seeking a professional, proactive Senior Administrative Assistant to support the Associate General Counsel, Global Sales and Operations and Americas Legal Team! .

This vital position requires at least 10 years experience directly supporting senior management or executive officers of a medium to large corporation, someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and meet the qualifications outlined below.

  • Full support of AGC and Americas attorneys as needed
  • Proactively manage all domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Manage calendars and communications
  • Assist with planning and coordinate Americas Legal Team meeting/events
  • Assist with planning and coordinate Global Sales/Ops Legal Team meeting/events
  • Submit expense reports by deadlines
  • Ensure the office is organized and operating effectively and efficiently
  • Assist in budget and financial reporting process
  • Facilitate communication between all levels of the organization and external contacts
  • Assist attorneys/paralegals with corporate formalities and board books proces! s as needed
  • Order business cards, supplies, equipment! , and other items as necessary
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of department and recommend/implement solutions
  • Take on additional tasks as necessary
Position Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma (or GED equivalent)
  • Minimum 10+years work experience supporting senior management or executive corporate officers
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of the AGC/attorneys and effectively prioritize workload
  • Exceptional calendar management skills with the ability to use good judgment and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material and information with discretion
  • Possess strong diplomatic acumen, sense of responsibility, and integrity
  • Motivated self-starter with strong ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; has positive, friendly, helpful attitude
  • Excellen! t communications skills, including verbal and written
  • Able to judge the relative importance of issues and act independently to address them
  • Demonstrated time management and multitasking skills
  • Computer/Systems skills including MS Office for Windows, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • Experience with Lotus Notes and Oracle applications a plus.
