What You'll Do/Need
The Vendor Service Specialist obtains the status of title commitments as well as gathers various forms of data to keep our records complete.
Responsibilities
Obtaining the status or ETA of a title commitment or title evidence with both independent abstractors and partner title companies in throughout Texas
Contacting a Client Care Specialist to gather information to assist with completing title
Entering new title product orders
Sending or a! ssigning orders to abstractors, core suppliers, attorneys and ! partner companies
Researching online records for property location or property tax information
Requirements
Basic title insurance knowledge preferred but not necessary. Knowledge will be expanded through cross-training and continued exposure
Flexible to work 50 to 55 hours a week including evening shifts and weekends
Experience in an office/corporate environment with knowledge of basic office equipment (phone, fax, and copy machine)
Ability to learn new company specific software programs
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Experience researching client issues and finding solutions
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented and organized
Ability to multitask and organize large workloads
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to compose professional emails to internal and external clients
Ability to work well within a team to strive for a common goal
Ability to type 35 to 40 words ! per minute preferred
