Texas Southern University was founded in 1927 and became state institution in 1947. Responsibilities:
Teach Sport Manag! ement and Human Performance core-curriculum courses at the Gra! duate and Undergraduate level. Engage in research and publishes in professional journals, student-advising and community service. Assist in the development of the internship program and supervising of interns. Maintain required office hours. Other duties as assigned by the Chairperson.
Education:
An earned doctoral degree from an accredited four year college/university required in sport management or related field required. Certification and licensure in physical education preferred.
Work Experience:
Successful candidate will provide documented evidence of one to three years sport management teaching experience, scholarly and research potential.
