POSITION OVERVIEW:
Bloomberg BNA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bloomberg, a lead! ing source of legal, regulatory, and business information for professionals, seeks a highly-motivated, experienced and proven outside sales representative with a desire to sell and position our legal research product, first real-time legal research platform that integrates innovative search technology, comprehensive legal content, company and client information, and proprietary news all in one place. This position may be located in either Ohio or Pennsylvania.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop new business and build and maintain client relationships; obtain an in depth understanding of the needs of legal professionals and a similar depth of understanding of Bloomberg Law and Bloomberg BNA to ensure the proper positioning of the products within law firms; development relationships and service one of six geographical regions; engage during the workweek outside of the office visiting and meeting with potential and current clients in order to build these relationshi! ps with the goal of selling Bloomberg BNA’s products and obt! aining new business for BBNA; develop and manage a pipeline of business to drive meeting and exceeding sales targets and objectives; establish long-term relationships with customers, identify up-sell opportunities and develop new business; increase awareness and create preference for Bloomberg BNA as 'the' must-have products among legal professionals; remain current on new products, enhancements, and industry trends to better understand the impact on customers; train and assist attorneys and other legal professionals with their use of Bloomberg BNA; work in groups; and give presentations selling BBNA’s products in front of large and small potential client audiences.

REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years’ experience in Legal sales; strong sales-related experience, with either a proven record of B2B enterprise sales success or similar experience in a professional service environment; proven leadership and sales development ability; excellent written, verbal, and pres! entation skills to effectively communicate value propositions to the industry decision makers; effective time management, analytical, and organizational skills; expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel; ability to take initiative and work in a fast paced, detail-oriented environment; and knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal a plus. Working knowledge of, and background in, the legal profession and/or legal publishing industry preferred. Travel required. Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience. JD preferred.
