Leasing Representative

Brandywine Realty Trust has an immediate opening for a full-time Leasing Representative in our Austin, Texas office . Th is r ole has the primary responsibility of showing and leasing available space to prospective tenants, renegotiating leases for existing tenants and producing/distributing required paperwork and reporting documents.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
§ Interview prospective t enants and record information to ascertain needs and qualifications
§ Retain existing tenants by staying up-to-date on lease expirations,! lease options and changing needs of tenants
§ Conduct ma! rketing of existing space, buildings or land by cold calling and networking with brokers, other industry representatives and targeting companies not already located in a Brandywine property
§ Conduct lease negotiations for prosp ective tenants (or renegotiate for existing tenants) by showing space, preparing floor plans, preparing deal sheets , and gather ing and analyzing financial data
§ Inspect vacant space periodically to ass ure space is presentable and arrange for maintenance or capital improvements, as necessary
§ Track local market statistics including competitive properties and compile and maintain listings of available space
§ Develop marketing pieces f or assigned properties
§ Continue to foster working relationships with tenants after the initial move in
§ Foster working relationship s with the brokerage, business, governmental and industry communities
§ Coordinate preparation of lease documentation with internal and/or externa! l attorneys for new, renewing or lease modifications
§ Ensure compliance with company’s required lease administration, including preparation of final deal sheet, lease abstract, tenant financial review, and press release
§ Prepare leasing report cards, as required
§ Coordinate with property management and construction personnel to ensure tenant’s construction is completed as required
§ Perform special projects as needed and directed by supervisory personnel
Education and Experience Requirements :
§ Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
§ 4 to 8 years related experience and/or training in commercial real estate ; or equivalent combination of education and experience
§ Current valid driver’s license and personal automobile insurance
§ Current r eal e state salesperson’s license for the State of Texas
Competencies/Other Qualifications:
§ Computer proficiency, includin! g, but no t limited to, Microsoft Office p roducts
§ Ability to us! e and learn computer software packages as required
§ Excellent verbal skills to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
§ Excellent written communication skills to produc e routine reports and correspondence
