We are currently hiring for a Records Clerk I to join BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. In this role as Records Clerk I you will ensure the accuracy and quality of data that has been systematically or manually entered into an indexing system. In addition, you will be responsible for the opening, sorting and prepping of all incoming paper claims and correspondence for our various contracts.

Logistics
This position is full time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday and will be in person at 1657B Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37217
What You Will Do:
  • Verify the accuracy and quality of the data entered into the indexing system. Make necessary corrections to ensure electronic data accurately reflects the original data.
  • Prepare necessary reports on productivity and participate in special projects as assigned.
To Qualify for This Position, You Will Need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Communicates appeals status
  • Documents appeals resolution
  • Processes appeals
  • Supports second level reviews
  • Works claims caseloads
