Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contact borrowers on the telephone (approximately 7.5 hours per day) to collect past due accounts
- Negotiate payment arrangements with the objective of obtaining payment in full
- Document borrower files
- Review accounts for legal qualifications
- Contact borrower via telephone to reach a voluntary payment arrangement.
- Verify home address and telephone number
- Verify place of employment
- If no voluntary payment arrangement has been reached and there is no signed repayment agreement, prepare the account for the attorney to initiate legal action
- Skip tracing for residence and or place of employment
- Follow all federal, state and local laws
- Evaluate and assess borrower’s credit and financial situation
- Meet monthly performance expectations
- Excellent verbal communications
- Computer skills
- Understanding of legal system
- Basic math skills
- Ability to negotiate repayment options
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
All departments are required to work two Saturdays per month.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
