The Senior Business Paralegal position located in our Westlake, Texas location is responsible for providing assistance and support to attorneys by gathering information, preparing legal documents and responding to routine inquiries from the business and/or vendors. Essential Functions/Responsibilities Prepare and maintain drafts of company template agreements.
Manage legal review drafting requests, ensure proper routing and timely responses for such requests. Facilitate reviews of client and vendor agreements and prepare final drafts of agreements. Manage RFP/RFI process within the legal department. Assist with the marketing collateral review process.
Assist with product development. Assist with business unit audits. Conduct research as required for client requests and projects. Monitor legislation and regulations impacting company.
Serve as lead for legal projects. Prepare requested memos and reports. Perform other duties, including some clerical tasks, as needed. Education Bachelor's degree preferred Paralegal certificate preferred Experience Five or more years experience working in a fast paced corporate environment, supporting multiple attorneys Knowledge/Skills Maintains Texas Notary Commission In depth knowledge of commercial legal formalities, terms and principles Consumer financial services experience preferred Extensive experience drafting commercial agreements and responding to general and specific legal inquiries Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to conduct research on complex items Ability to take ownership of assignments and see such assignments to completion Team player Ability to manage competing priorities and perform under rigorous deadlines Self motivated and ability to work independently Ability to interface effectively with all levels of corporate personnel Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail CoreLogic offers an empowered work environment that encourages creativity, initiative and professional growth and provides a competitive salary and benefits package.
