Responsible for assisting in the execution of internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business or Enterprise Control Function. Leverages data in order to monitor effectiveness of key controls and status of mitigation and action plans. Builds out mitigating action plans, milestones and controls. Documents, tracks, monitors, & escalates risk related issues. Assists team in completion of multiple enterprise required assessments, including risk and control self-assessment. May direct staff. Incumbents typically have over 8+ years of risk management experience.
Additional Information:
Eastern Region Production Lead for the Mortgage Resolution Team. Responsible for managing sites in Jacksonville, Pittsburgh and Fort Worth, up to 300 associates. In addition, this role will provide leadership and oversight across the Eastern region as the business transitions to a new regional case assignment model.
Qualifications
Required skills:
Mortgage or Financial Services Required
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
Excellent managerial skills managing up to 300 associates in multiple sites.
Experience working with attorneys, trustees and vendors to manage litigation issues while maintaining regulatory compliance.
7+ years experience in mortgage servicing, preferably in default space
Knowledge of Mortgage Banking relative to RESPA, FDCPA and state and federal laws pertaining to Foreclosure and Bankruptcy.
5+ years experience managing a budget, performance plans, addressing staffing needs, coaching, training and evaluating staff.
Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Analytical and Project Management skills.
