The Title Curative Analyst III is responsible for opening, monitoring filing, and resolving title claim issues. The position is also responsible for working with the outsource vendor on issues that the foreclosure attorneys are handling in rela! tion to Title.
Responsibilities:
- ! File Title claims as necessary to remove impediments.
- Desktop intercom communication for loans with open related processes.
- Approve additional fees and costs queue.
- Preview title company prepared documents and negotiations for settlement.
- Monitor title company and foreclosure attorneys to assure timely progress.
- Assist various internal departments in clearing title to problem properties.
- Maintain and work a follow up task list to assure attention to the problems.
- Update Fiserv and LPS Desktop as needed.
- Give direction on the proper application of monetary collections from title co, etc.
- Follow through to return loans to proper status after resolution.
- Work on special projects as assigned by management .
- 1 plus years of experience in mortgage servicing, loan origination, and loan documents
- Current, working knowledge of the Microsof! t Office suite, including: Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Federal Bankruptcy Laws, Foreclosure process, and Title Insurance coverage
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fiserv and LPS Desktop experience preferred.
