Handle all issues associated with land, lease and title

• Coordinate and integrate various Land items related

to permitti! ng drill locations in multiple domestic
plays

• Acquire, maintain, and prepare properties for

drilling, recompletions, reworks and P&A

• Run title from sovereignty to present, obtain

attorney title opinions and curing all requirements
set out in opinions for all non-drill site tracts

• Check title from date of last leases to present,

negotiate with mineral owners to obtain
extensions/renewals of expiring leases, review LPR
packages, approve drafts for payment of bonus

• Coordinate activities connected with property

through the life of the property

• Field inquires for mineral owners and working

interest partners

• Heavy contact position (both internal and external)

on legal issues, regulatory matters, exploration and
production issues, gas marketing and lease
record/division order arrangements

• Interact with ! other disciplines in a team

environment to accompli! sh company goals

• Prepare and negotiate appropriate contracts and

agreements to facilitate operations

• Represent the company’s interest at industry and

partner meetings

• Actively participate in development of an

acquisition strategy and help to execute the Plan

• Assist in property sales and acquisitions
• Handle issues of trade and JV activities as needed
• Cultivate industry relationships to profitably grow

the business in target areas.

• Coordinate through the State Regulatory agency all exploration

and production issues to facilitate company
production goals

• Make assignments to and supervise technicians to assist

in completion of all work according to appropriate
technical guidelines

• Assume responsibility for any and all special

projects, as assigned

Job Requirements:
! 5-10 years experience as Petroleum Landman with either
or a Major and/or Independent Oil & Gas Company* BS/BA
or advanced degree in Petroleum Land Management,
Energy Management or Law

• Prefer previous ROW & Surface Use Agreement

experience

• Excellent organizational, communication, and

problem-solving skills are imperative, with the
ability to make presentations to management

• Must have strong work ethic, focused on team driven

goals and delivery of results

• Must have strong communication skills and actively

participate in a team environment

• Must work well with others in high stress situations
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a

regular full-time basis without restrictions
