Act in an advisory capacity to claim management on claim legal matters
Provide legal research and opinions on issues regard! ing legal liability, coverage questions, and policy defenses
Review, interpret and communicate legislation and court decisions
WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION?
Consistently demonstrates a broad command of legal issues
Knowledge of company claim policies and procedures, repair costs, medical and anatomical terminology, types of personal injury and their prognosis, federal and state law (procedural and substantive), unfair claim practice laws, current court decisions and new statutes affecting claims and litigation
ITEMS OF NOTE
Must have L.L.B. or J.D. and admitted to practice and continually be an active member of bar in the state of operation
not permitted to handle any legal business outside of the company
