The Closer/Funder III is a part o! f SACU's Home Loans Wholesale Channel Team at the Main Branch.Duties Include: Review of loan documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness and complianceEvaluates all information supplied for loan closing and funding, verifying the accuracyAssembles a complete closing and funding packageWork closely with the Home Loan Production teamAccuracy and Completeness of loan closing and funding date entered into the loan processing systemFollows procedures to efficiently and accurately close and fund home loan productsMaintains a pipeline of loan closing and fundingsMonitors and ensure home loans are closed in a timely mannerCloses all types of mortgage loan transactions ensuring legal documents are properly executed and recordedReviews title commitments, surveys, disclosures, insurance coverage, private mortgage insurance certificates and other documentsWorks with third party vendors (title companies and attorneys)Reviews payoffs, gathering third party feesCompletes an analysis of! preliminary HUCDPrepares closing documents and submit loan fi! lesReviews the final HUD and make decision to fund the loanAuthorize the release of fundsExecute disbursement of loan proceedsBalances and disburses all loan proceedsEnters accurate loan data in the Loan Origination SystemSACU is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer. Qualifications Include: High school diploma or equivalentCollege degree preferredMust have a minimum of 5 years experience in mortgage industryMinimum 2 years closing and fundingNotary Public under the State of TexasFHA and VA closing and funding a plusKnowledge of home loan closing guidelines and rules and regulations governed by local, state and federal agenciesKnowledgeable in real estate closing and fundings to include secondary marketing guidelinesSolid mortgage closing and funding background, critical thinking skillsStrong analytical, problem solving and audit skillsComputer skills to include MS Outlook, Word, ExcelHours: Monday â€" Friday: 8:30 am â€" 5:30SACU has been building strong member! relationships for over 75 years!
