Responsible for providing coordination of the Quality Management and Credentialing processes for Parkland Community ! Health Plan network providers, in order to ensure effective operations.

MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS

Education:

• Must have a Bachelor of Nursing degree or related degree.

Experience:

• Must have six years of experience to include two years of managed care industry experience.

Equivalent Experience:

• May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

• RNs Only: Must have current RN license or valid temporary permit with the Texas Board of Nursing or, valid Compact RN license.

Skills or Special Abilities:

• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge regarding managed care/health principles.
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge regarding regulatory, legal, and confidentiality compliance issues.
• Must b! e able to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and posse! ss good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with other healthcare team members.
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent PC skills to include word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Must have effective time management skills and the ability to independently prioritize multiple projects.
• Must be able to work with internal and external investigators from such as Parkland¿s Legal Affairs, Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Attorney General (AG), etc., as needed to resolve issues.
