We are seeking an Associate General Counsel to join our dedicated legal team with a focus on providin! g legal advice for our tax controversy services clients.
Job Responsibilities:
As an Associate General Counsel, you will be responsible for providing in-house legal assistance in the following areas: drafting employee agreements, confidentiality agreements, client contracts, vendor contracts; resolving employee issues and litigation; providing guidance to HR department; and providing general legal support to the General Counsels office.
Additional responsibilities include:
Supporting clients and CPAs by managing audit and defense process
Representing and advising alliantgroup on all legal transactions
Interpreting and evaluating materials to develop strategies and to determine advisability
Associate General Counsel Job Requirements:
Successful candidates for the Associate General Counsel role have experience with employment law and commercial transactions.
Additional requirements include:
2 - 5 years experience as an attorney / lawyer with in-house! or firm experience
Law Review, preferred
Active law license in Texas and California
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
