Position: Part-Time First year Statistics Tutor (University of Pretoria) at our Hatfield offices
- We are URGENTLY looking for a dedicated and dynamic tutor to teach First year Statistics (STK133) at our Hatfield offices. The ideal candidate should be available on weekdays and have a strong passion for teaching and mentoring.
Responsibilities:
- Providing engaging and effective First year Statistics lessons
- Helping students understand key concepts and topics
- Reinforcing course material to ensure mastery
- Offering feedback and guidance on assignments and homework
- Encouraging students to develop strong study habits and skills
- Evaluating student progress and providing regular reports
Requirements:
- Matriculation (Maths 80% and above) with a distinction in Statistics or a related field
- Currently enrolled or have completed a related degree program at a reputable tertiary institution
- Based in or near Hatfield (Pretoria) and available on weekdays for lessons
- Own transportation is preferred
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of First year Statistics (STK133) curriculum and concepts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
