Description
The Commercial Processor is responsible for all origination and servicing of commercial loans. This includes reviewing and understanding several different types of loan documentation from internally prepared in Citi to attorney prepared loan documentation from outside counsel. The Commercial Processor acts as the liaison for the market to review the loan documents for the relationship managers and the external customer. Responsibilities include the review of several hundred pages of various loan documents for risk to determine if these documents are in compliance with federal regulations, credit policy, and defined procedures.
Process and input the loan information into several different loan and tracking systems.
The processor will perform quality assurance that all information received and entered into the systems are accurate.
The commercial processer will be responsible for meeting service level agreements for all l! oans and accuracy requirements to meet the needs of the external customer.
Evaluate the completeness and appropriateness of the documentation submitted with loan packages and work with the Credit Officers and Relationship Process transactions with high efficiency in AFS, Systematic and other bank applications (Workflow Application, Paralender, Image System, Deposit System, Credit Application System, I-lien, Quietrack, Lereta)
Perform compliance and regulatory checks, order or file UCC and entity searches, flood insurance , file mortgages, and Secretary of State Good Standing status.
Review loan documents to ensure proper segmentation and re-routing loan documents when appropriate (based on region).
Assist with data integrity reviews and take necessary corrective actions. This includes reviewing and understanding several different types of loan documentation from internally prepared in Citi to attorney prepared loan documentation from outside counsel. Qualifi! cations
2 to 5 years Banking experience preferred Computer ski! lls (including Excel, Word, Outlook)
Professional Communication Skills (verbal and written) needed to communicate with both external and internal clients
Position requires ability to work within established procedures and regulatory guidelines and use judgment to identify and escalate inconsistencies with suggestions for procedural updates
